If you remember a few months ago, GamerXChange published, in one of its “An Idea For The Future” features, an article about PS3 and PSV games being bundled together (article can be found here).
In a recent interview by Eurogamer, Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida explained the following when speaking about the cross-platform gaming experience and Ruin:
One of the games we’re making, called Ruin, we are developing both the Vita version and the PS3 version of that title. Both games will be packaged together. You can play the game at home on PS3, save your data on our PSN server on the cloud, and you can continue playing the game on PS Vita by downloading the save from the PSN. And you can do vice versa.
So indeed, these games will be bundled, at least somewhere where PlayStation games are published. Initial assumptions are that this will just be an option because not everyone will have both systems. Will this be with all of the cross-platform titles we will see on the PlayStation systems? What will the price be? And what kind of media will it come in- Physical or downloadable? We will bring you more details as they come in.
