“PS Vita Has No Games,” Except This List of Over 70 of Them

vita

It’s not often that I do this, direct an article to the fanboys, trolls, and haters. But the Miami Heat won last night (Partying for the rest of the month here in Miami) and I’m feeling a little confident. So why not?! Today, I’m directing this article to those “gamers” out there who paint a picture of doom and gloom for Sony’s new handheld, the PlayStation Vita.

It has only been four months now since the device launched in North America, which is still considered the “launch window.” Yet, people are already swearing that the device will fail. Nintendo fanboys who worship Miyamoto, seemingly try to appease him by claiming the handheld with never amount to anything and 3DS will forever reign supreme. Dead on arrival, bombed, failed – We all go to N4G, IGN, YouTube and other places that trolls like to lurk. We see what they are saying. One thing especially that they are claiming, “Vita has no games!” Huh, I’m experiencing a weird bit of deja vu. Well, just for fun, I thought I would list some of the games that have been already released and those that have been announced for release in North America alone.

This list consists of Vita games – as in games made for the Vita format some released, others already in development. This does not include games that you can also play on the Vita such as downloadable PSP titles, Minis, and the upcoming PSOne titles and PS3 remote play games. So, here they are:

Just got my Vita and I’m loving it. I already have 10 games for it since I got it last week and that’s not counting 50 minis I got free with PS+ and dome PSP games I’ve downloaded. There’s plenty in the PSP catalog to keep gamers busy while the PSV catalog grows. Every system needs time to build a catalog of games.

Also in love with me VITA I own a few titles and have been happy with each of them. Actually excited for guacamelle lol. Hope the rumors of the PS+ members getting a free PSV version of games bought for the PS3 (example:mlb the show)

Don’t sweat it man. They said the same thing about the PS3, remember? From “PS3 got no games” to “the PS3 will fail” and look how that turned out.

    • http://GamerXChange.net/ Simply G

Yup. Fanboys say it about every system.

I totally agree with you. We’ll just give the vita some time to get their hit seller games to be out.

Well been 8 months now and still CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • SLICK_T

It has games hardly no one wants or is excited about and most are ports that can be played on ps3 already. It has hardly no support and its been out for almost 7 months total. My ipod touch does more and does it better 90% of the time. The only 2 things a vita has better than a iphone or ipod is a bigger screen and sticks other than that It can’t compare. Heck not to mention the vita screen has blotchy screen defects at a rapid mass. I went through 2 vita’s already testing it out and just didn’t see a reason to keep the 2 I had bought over a span of months and had returned both a day after buying them cause it just wasn’t being supported.

I have a Vita, and I have some games: Gravity Rush, Wipeout, Uncharted, Motorstorm RC, Super Stardust Delta, Mutant Blobs Attack, Little Deviants (such a crappy game), Dungeon Hunter, Lumines, and Motorstorm. I will say this: I feel like there are no AAA games for my system. Having said that: I’ve felt this way with almost every launch system I’ve purchased. At least Nintendo was a bit faster with getting some great games out of the gate on my 3DS.

I’ve been thinking about MGS HD though, for a couple weeks now.

Also; your list has so many unreleased games it isn’t funny. Talk about things I could go buy TODAY.

“This list consists of Vita games – as in games made for the Vita format some released, others already in development. ”

Over 40 of those games are already out, bro.

  • RNBST

i bought the vita at release date and bought 2 games, played them both till what?? maybe new games will come……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. september the 14th and put it on ebay. ( better keep it up with my good old psp ) :) damn vita.

  • SoupCan1337666455

most of the people dont even realize that the vita is a rather advanced handheld compared to others therefore it takes some time to actually develop games.

  • no-one

No developer with out money to blow will take a risk on a console that has only sold 2.2 million units world wide. The 3ds has sold 19 million units and developers and still cringing on spending a lot on game development for the console. People keep saying the vita is more powerful then the 3ds. Prove it, Because the new resident evil game for the 3ds is doing a good job of showing which one is the best. I am still going to give the vita a chance. I want to see some developer take advantage of the true power of the console. Lets see what the holidays have to offer. If the system is still dead after December then I will be giving it away.

  • kareempain

lol it seems that any system that comes out is bound to “fail” personally for me vitas selection is ok at best. but i am an rpg fan so that goes to say MOST systems dont have to much for me. im old school turn based rpg player so persona 4 golden is mine when it comes out. but i do enjoy a few other games such as nfs most wanted disgaea 3 assassins creed 3 blazblue and few others so its working for me

    • http://twitter.com/geegee0572 gee gee

im got the vita in may 2012 and somesone at sony including this simply g and anybody else living on a drug cloud of happyness that is the the blue pill where you stay in your bed and sony make you believe what they want you to believe makes no sensel!!! as there may be 70 games or more out there those games are nothing. i want sony to give me the red pill we vita fans stay in wonderland and they show me how far the rabbit hole goes (GTA 5,PES,red dead redemption,Far Cry,hitman, dishonored, sleeping dogs, max payne, football manager etc, etc, etc.lets hope i see you all on The Nebuchadnezzar….

  • mt2013

The quality of games available for PS Vita as of Feb 2013 is pathetic. Don’t waste your money.

  • kalel

I have a vita but am getting really fed up with crap games like nearly all the ones listed above.Come on when are we going to get some serious games for us serious gamers .Crap simple phone games are a waste of time.Sony you best sort this quick or you will loose us for good.Stop wasting our money and step up befor you have ANOTHER flop on your hands!!!!!!

    • Super Gravy

Well giving its time is probably a bad way to say it. But try looking at Japanese games to import and play if you want. I am sure there is at least one of those games interested you.

After all I can say Demon Blade is a pretty good game and at least it was for Nintendo Wii. I haven’t got it for my Vita yet. (I don’t know why Amazon will not ship it to me yet.)

  • pat

Its not a legit system till its has nhl and nba plus a resident evil game and ace combat. Who do they think dropped $300 on a vita ro play plants v zombies. Get real.
