NCsoft and ArenaNet announced today that their new MMO and one of the year’s most anticipated games, Guild Wars 2, will launch in both Europe and North America on August 28, 2012. That’s right folks, it finally has a release date!

You can still pre-order Guild Wars 2  to ensure you get a copy of the game in addition to some of the bonuses that go along with it as well.

ArenaNet is still in the process of developing and polishing the game, which includes hosting a final Beta Weekend Event July 20-22, 2012.
