The upcoming first-person shooter, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2, has been spotted for more systems than originally announced.
Thanks to the ESRB’s recent listings (which gave the game a ‘Mature’ rating), we now know that the game will not only be coming out for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC/Mac as originally planned, but also Sony’s new handheld the PlayStation Vita and Nintendo’s upcoming next-gen system, the Wii U.
It should be noted though, the Vita and Wii U versions of the game have not been officially announced nor do we know when they will be released. This, however, adds to both the Vita and the Wii U’s software lineup – systems which have been criticized in the past for not having enough games being shown or coming out for them.
A tactical and stealth FPS follow-up to the mixed-reviewed “Sniper Ghost Warrior” in 2010:
Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 takes the bulls-eye precision of its 2 million plus best-selling predecessor to new and exciting heights. The only multi-platform FPS modern shooter exclusively designed around the sniper experience and built using the most advanced game engine in CryENGINE3. The missions of Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 are graphically stunning and provide more diverse sniper challenges. Feel the kill as you experience unprecedented levels of realism in weapons, ballistics and environmental factors.
After some initial delays of the game, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is finally set to come out on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on January 15, 2013 in North America and Jan. 18th in Europe.
