Comics: Marvel Announces More Season One Graphic Novels – Iron Man, Thor, Wolverine

Relive the origins of some of Marvel's most iconic characters in the latest Season One graphic novels.

Marvel is continuing its Season One graphic novel initiative by introducing three more origin stories. Announced at NYCC 2012, Marvel will give Iron Man, Thor, and Wolverine Marvel Season One stories. The books along with the creative teams and release dates are as follows:

Iron Man: Season One
Writer: Howard Chaykin
Artist: Gerard Parel
Release: April 2013

Wolverine: Season One
Writer:  Ben Blacker and Ben Acker
Artist: Salva Espin
Release: June 2013

Thor: Season One
Writer: Matthew Sturges
Artist: Pepe Larraz
Release: October 2013

Iron Man, Wolverine, and Thor will join the other Marvel Season One graphic novels available now – which include:

  • Hulk
  • Dr. Strange
  • Daredevil
  • Spider-Man
  • X-Men
  • Ant-Man
  • Fantastic Four
Previously announced before NYCC, The Avengers will also receive their own Season One book early 2013, or you can pick up an exclusive edition of Avengers: Season One with the Avengers Blu-Ray at Walmart.
