God of War: Ascension – Unchained – The Big Reveal, New Zeus Trailer, and More

God of War Ascension Feature

PlayStation has unveiled “The Big Reveal” for God of War: Ascension. As we reported a few weeks ago, Sony Santa Monica had something “big” to reveal – well, it’s here, and it’s not at all what anyone was expecting. In fact, this big reveal is only “The Big Reveal” in title. A little misleading, I know. PlayStation uploaded a video entitled, “God of War: Ascension – Unchained – The Big Reveal” which gives a behind the scenes look of the team at Sony Santa Monica before the game was announced and up through the first media briefings.

Check out the behind the scene video here:

This is the first of a few videos that will give a behind the scenes look at the making of God of War: Ascension.

In other news, we can let you know that the MP beta for Ascension is set for Winter for PS+ members. In addition, if you subscribe to the GodofWar.com site, you may be able to get a week’s early access to the beta. In the beta, you’ll be able to take on a custom character and choose a deity to serve and fight for. From there, you will gain special abilities and powers that reflect the Greek god that you chose to align yourself with.

A new trailer has also been uploaded by PlayStation, introducing Zeus (one of the deities you can align yourself with) and his warriors for multiplayer (new powers and all that cool stuff):

God of War: Ascension hits PlayStation 3 on March 12, 2013.
