Apple unveiled the next wave in their i-devices today including next generation iPads, new iMacs, upgraded Macbook Pro with Retina display, and the long-time rumored iPad mini. iPad mini
The biggest piece of news came from Apple’s confirmation of the smaller version of their popular tablet – the iPad mini. The iPad mini is essentially a smaller version of an iPad somewhere between the second and third generation. Shipping with iOS 6, some of the notable features are as follows:
- 7.9-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit Multi-Touch display with IPS technology
- Dual-core A5
- FaceTime HD Camera
- iSight Camera
- Siri
- AirPlay
- Lightning connector
- WiFi and LTE connectivity (optional)
- 10-Hour Battery life

iPad Fourth Generation
What might seem to be a low blow to consumers who purchased the iPad 3 this year, Apple announced a 4th gen iPad that is more powerful than its predecessor. Upgraded features include:
- 9.7-inch Retina display
- new Apple-designed A6X chip
- FaceTime HD camera
- “ultrafast” wireless performance
- LTE Network support
- 10 hour battery life
