Nintendo has announced the official name of the Animal Crossing 3DS game for North America, Animal Crossing: New Leaf. The title, known as Animal Crossing: Jump Out in Japan, will be released on November 8, 2012 for Japan. The targeted Western release is for the first half of 2013. New Leaf is the next installment in the hit Animal Crossing franchise where you take your place as the mayor of the town and can live life in a constantly moving virtual world full of friendly critters.
