Ubisoft has revealed that Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist is coming to Wii U. The game will launch alongside the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC versions on August 20 in North America, August 22 for EMEA territories, and August 23 in the UK.
The Wii U version of the game will have special features and “enhanced gameplay options” fitted for the Gamepad. These features include:
- The Gamepad replicates Sam’s OpSat, allowing the player to operate gadgets such as tri-rotor drones and the sticky cam through touch and motion-based inputs.
- The GamePad controller allows for faster reaction times such as:
- Mark enemies
- Switch weapons
- Quick reload
- Choose gadgets
- Other unspecified features
