Ubisoft Announces ‘Splinter Cell: Blacklist’ For Wii U


Ubisoft has revealed that Tom Clancy’’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist™ is coming to Wii U. The game will launch alongside the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC versions™ on August 20 in North America, August 22 for EMEA territories, and August 23 in the UK.

The Wii U version of the game will have special features and “enhanced gameplay options” fitted for the Gamepad. These features include:

  • The Gamepad replicates Sam’s OpSat, allowing the player to operate gadgets such as tri-rotor drones and the sticky cam through touch and motion-based inputs.
  • The GamePad controller allows for faster reaction times such as:
    • Mark enemies
    • Switch weapons
    • Quick reload
    • Choose gadgets
    • Other unspecified features
