‘Ratchet & Clank’ The Movie Announced For 2015

Ratchet Clank Movie feature

You know those times when you’re playing a game and just think, “Wow, this would be great as a TV show” or “Wow, they need to make this a movie”? Well, for one hit franchise, it’s finally happening. Insomniac Games and Sony Computer Entertainment have announced that the hit Ratchet & Clank franchise will be coming to theaters in 2015.

The CG-animated film is currently in production by Blockade Entertainment and Rainmaker Entertainment. Of course Insomniac isn’t going to sit idly by as their baby is hitting the big screen for the first time. So Insomniac is helping with the film’s production, screenplay, character development, and animation consulting. What’s more, T.J. Fixman, the guy who has written all of the recent Ratchet & Clank games, is writing the script for the film. It sounds like the movie is in good hands.

While there’s no trailer for the movie yet (considering it’s coming out in 2015), a fun announcement teaser was released. Check it out below:

So keep your eye out for more details on the Ratchet & Clank movie when we get closer to its release.
