With the highly anticipated return of Grand Theft Auto in just a few weeks, a lot of people have been wondering, “Is the game really only for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360?” Many have expected a PC version announcement sooner or later. In addition, many have been clamoring for next-gen versions. Still, Rockstar has steadfastly remained silent on any plans for a PC or next-gen release of the upcoming title.
But Sony may have just let something slip. What is it? Well, just take a gander at this Sony UK post on Twitter that you can find below:
@mrxmas123 GTA V is going to be amazing, especially on the PS4! What other games are you looking forward to playing, Norman?

( for those who can’t load the embed above – From @SonyUK: “GTA V is going to be amazing, especially on the PS4! What other games are you looking forward to playing, Norman?” )
Is this another case of an uninformed employee? A simple typo? I mean, the numbers “3″ and “4″ are right next to each other. Or did Sony just let the cat out of the bag? Many people have been questioning whether or not the gameplay videos we have been seeing are truly from the current generation of consoles because they look so impressive. Could the real reason they look so good be that we have been seeing next-gen versions of the game?
If this is indeed a leak of truthful information, then this would be the second time in a week that Sony has leaked some sort of Grand Theft Auto V assets and info. The first, through an exploit on the European PlayStation Network store.
What are your thoughts? Could this info be true, or do you think it was a simple error? Sound off in the comments below!
Grand Theft Auto V is slated for a North American release on September 17, 2013. A new trailer will be revealed this Thursday, August 29th, 2013. Stay tuned for any updates!
